Who is responsible

What this site collects
Counts, and nothing that identifies you. Which page was opened, which sections were reached and for roughly how long, how far down a page you scrolled, and which buttons and links were used. That is the complete list, and the site refuses to record anything not on it.
No account, no profile, no history. Two people who do the same thing are two entries in a count, and there is nothing in what is stored that could tell them apart later.
Why there is no cookie banner
Because nothing is written to your device. No cookie, no local storage, no fingerprint. Belgian law requires consent to store or read information on your equipment, and this site does neither, so asking would be theatre rather than a choice.
A visit is recognised for a single day through a value calculated in memory from the request and never written down; it is discarded and regenerated daily, so you cannot be followed from one day to the next, let alone across other websites.
What it never collects
No email address, no form content, no free text, no identifier supplied by the page, and no advertising identity. The site does not attempt to recognise you across visits or across other websites, and nothing it records is sold, shared or used to build a profile.
Who else is involved
The counts are processed by Umami, on servers in the European Union. Nothing is transferred outside the European Economic Area, and no advertising company is involved at any point.
The exact processor entity, its address and the data processing agreement are recorded here before this site is public.
Your choices
There is nothing to switch off, because nothing about you is kept. If that changes, and this site ever adopts something that writes to your device, it will ask first, and the choice will appear here and in the footer of every page.
Depending on where you live you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to portability, and to complain to a data protection authority. In Belgium that is the Autorité de protection des données. Write to hello@appro-app.com to exercise any of them.
Storage on your device
Nothing. Not a cookie, not a stored value, not an identifier. You can verify it: open your browser's developer tools, look at storage and cookies for this site, and the list is empty.
How long the counts are kept
Six months, after which they are deleted by the processor and cannot be recovered. Nothing in them identifies you, so there is nothing about you to keep or to delete.
While this site is being built
Nothing at all is recorded, and the measurement script is not even loaded, on a local copy or a preview address. Measurement begins only on the published site at its own domain.
