Celestia: fictional edition.

The website opens the door. The app stays with them.

The Essential plan keeps the programme, favourites, reminders, map and useful links together. The full demo below also shows advanced features, quoted separately and not included in Essential.

From the first favourite to the next show

Visitors save their favourites and find their personal schedule. Reminders follow their choices, so the next show stays close without starting the search again.

Alert them at the right time

Reminders, schedule changes and urgent information arrive in the app according to the rules chosen by the organiser.

For the organising team

The app has an operating side.

A separate console lets your team prepare each edition's artists, timetable and news, publish changes, and send official information. See how the Celestia demonstration works behind the visitor app.

We can also integrate the tools you already use into this workspace, according to the connections they support and the scope agreed together.

What a visitor actually holds.

The Celestia screens below are real captures of the application, running an invented edition. Celestia is not a client and never happened: it was made for this page, which is the honest way to show you the whole product without putting somebody else's festival on the internet. The Photos screen shows the shared gallery during a real event, supplied for this page. These screens show the full demo, including advanced features quoted separately and not included in Essential.

Your main stage, in motion

The main stage on the first screen is drawn, lit and animated for Celestia. A custom animated stage based on your artwork is an optional advanced feature, quoted separately and not included in Essential.

What is playing right now, on which stage, until when. Your news under it and your links one tap away. The first screen answers the question everybody on site is actually asking.

The whole lineup, day by day

A timetable or a timeline, searchable by artist and stage, filtered by genre, opening on today. One tap puts an artist into a visitor's own schedule.

Everybody builds their own festival

Star the artists they came for and the timetable becomes theirs, with overlapping sets flagged rather than discovered at the barrier, and a reminder before each one at a lead time they choose.

The Celestia map: a drawn festival site with its stages, paths and points of interest, and the visitor's own position on it

A map of your site, not a pin on a road map

Your own artwork, your stages, bars, toilets and exits, filtered by category, with the visitor drawn on it where they are standing. Tap a stage and its schedule opens.

The Essential plan. Advanced features on quote.

Start with the Essential plan for the programme, favourites, reminders, supplied map and useful links. Choose additional visitor and organiser features according to your needs, with a separate quote.

Included in Essential

Your name, logo and colours on the existing app foundation. You supply the programme, map and content in the agreed format. No bespoke development is included.

  • Your festival name, logo and colours on the existing app foundation
  • The full lineup by day, as a timetable or as a timeline
  • Favourites, and a personal schedule built out of them
  • A reminder before a favourited set, at the visitor's own lead time
  • Your own map artwork, not a road map with pins dropped on it
  • Tickets, travel, merchandise, terms and FAQ, wherever you host them

Advanced features on quote

These features are not included in Essential. Their scope and price are agreed in a separate quote for your edition.

  • Search by artist or stage, filter by genre
  • A warning when two favourites overlap
  • The festival's news feed, read inside the app
  • A countdown to the first set
  • The forecast for each day of the festival
  • Stages, bars, toilets, exits and the rest, filtered by category
  • The visitor's own position, drawn on your map
  • Which stage they are standing near, and who is playing on it
  • Tap a stage, get that stage's schedule
  • Curated playlists for the edition
  • Live location shared with friends, by code or by link
  • Direction and distance to a friend across the site
  • Group chats for the festival and for each stage, read in realtime
  • Participants share their event photos in one gallery, with reporting and removal on every picture
  • Every upload screened automatically before it appears, and whatever it flags queued for someone of yours to approve or reject
  • What is playing now, on the lock screen, without opening anything
  • Official alerts, safety messages included, at any hour
  • An artist page with their set, their other appearances and what clashes with it

Organiser options on quote

These organiser capabilities are quoted according to your needs. They are not automatically included in Essential.

  • Advanced artwork and tab configuration, beyond the name, logo and colours included in Essential
  • Several editions, so next year is a configuration and not a new project
  • Sponsor and partner logos in tier order, identical on both platforms
  • A message pushed to everyone, at any moment you need it
  • Before, during and after the event, each enabling only what makes sense then
  • Links that open the right screen, from your site, your mails and your posters
  • iOS and Android off one shared core, each still natively written
  • App Store and Play Console submission, review and release, not just a build

Before launch, we check together that access, alerts, moderation and data handling fit your festival.

This list is not the limit.

Have something else in mind for your festival? The possibilities do not stop with the features above. Tell me what you want the app to do: I would be delighted to design and build it with you.

One build. Every edition.

The application does not know it is Celestia. The name, the colours, the artwork, the map, the tabs, the links and the whole lineup arrive as data, which is why a second festival is a configuration rather than a second project, and why next year's edition is not next year's rebuild.

It does not know it is a festival either. An edition is a name, a set of days, a map and a lineup, and a venue season, a sports weekend or a three-day conference are the same four things under different words. If you run one of those, the question is worth asking.

What organisers ask first.

Can I get an app for a single edition?
Yes. A single edition can be the starting scope. Running more editions later is a change of data rather than a new project, because the application carries each edition's name, map and lineup as configuration.
Is it a native app on iPhone and Android?
Yes, on both. The foundation includes native iPhone and Android applications. The demo shows their current state; adaptation, exact scope and publication are agreed for your edition.
Will the app carry my festival's name and artwork?
Yes. Your festival's name, colours, artwork, site map, tabs, links and full lineup are loaded as data, so the application appears under your identity, not Appro's.
Does it work for events that are not festivals?
Yes. An edition is a name, a set of days, a map and a lineup, so a venue season, a sports weekend or a three-day conference fit the same application.

Tell me about your festival.

An email starts it, and it is answered quickly, by the person who would do the work.
