Frequently asked questions

How many prompts does the free version allow?

Up to ten active prompts. Archived prompts do not count towards that limit.

What does PromptDeck Pro add?

PromptDeck Pro is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription, that removes the limit on active prompts. Apple processes the payment through the App Store.

How do I restore my purchase?

In PromptDeck, open Settings, go to the PromptDeck Pro section, and choose "Restore Purchases". The same button is in the PromptDeck Pro window, which opens when you reach the free limit. Use the Apple Account you made the purchase with.

Where is my data?

On your Mac, in the app's own storage. PromptDeck has no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics, and the content of your prompts is not sent to Appro-app SRL. The Mac App Store edition communicates with Apple only for the in-app purchase. The details are in the PromptDeck privacy policy.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting a prompt, project or tag in the app removes it from your queue, but some local copies, such as attached files and parked ideas, can stay on the Mac. To erase all PromptDeck data, quit the app, then delete the folder ~/Library/Containers/com.appro.promptdeck. Because there is no account and no server, Appro-app SRL holds no copy of your data and cannot access or erase it for you. The privacy policy describes what PromptDeck keeps on your Mac.
